Shannon from Freedom Bookkeeping and Consulting reached out to us about building a new website. Like many small business owners they had invested in a domain name, and were paying for monthly hosting. However, she did not have the time to get a proper website up and running.
With this intention we published a single page accounting website built on WordPress and Divi in just a few days.

Putting together a website, no matter how big or small, requires a lot of attention to detail. From creating the content, to choosing a hosting service, the website is only effective if it can get seen by visitors.
Even after the website is live, there is work to do in getting it indexed on search engines. And setting up of analytics, monitoring, and collecting information from potential customers.
Getting Discovered
When Shannon called us about this project, we were torn because their budget was tight, and we don’t recommend building one-page websites for businesses.
Even with a one page website, she has been able to get organic discovery traffic to her Google Business Profile, and her web page. Over time that discovery traffic has become more consistent and has grown.
